POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the President & CEO, the Project Coordinator is responsible for leading all activities related to the planning, coordination, and execution of events. This includes but is not limited to attendee recruitment, securing venues, corporate and in-kind donations, event logistics, post-event activities and procuring future venues.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

This includes but is not limited to attendee recruitment, securing venues, corporate and in-kind donations, event logistics, post-event activities and procuring future venues.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years’ experience coordinating larger scale events
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies and techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment often with tight deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work independently and exercise judgment to solve operational problems
- Skills in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrates cultural competency and sensitivity to the needs of adults with multiple challenges
Compensation: $30.00 - $30.00 per hour
