JOB DESCRIPTION
The Youth Engagement Coordinator directly supports youth and their families and connects them with direct services, enabling them to thrive. This position engages youth and their families where they are to offer education and career opportunities for these youth and their families to achieve success by getting involved in service delivery and voicing their trauma in a safe space.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- 2+ years’ experience in program planning, education, and/or youth outreach
- 2+ years’ experience in youth case management
- Experience working with youth who have complex needs that may require the involvement of multiple child-serving systems (mental health, developmental disabilities, child welfare, juvenile justice, chemical dependency, special education)
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Proven ability to interact with a wide variety of audiences.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Demonstrates cultural competency.
- Ability to build trust quickly.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including late nights and weekends.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
ULMS Total Compensation
** Most Benefits will take effect on the 1st of the month following a 60-day waiting period
- Medical - $8,741.40 per year
- Dental - $570 per year

Paid Time Off

Workers Compensation Coverage - $395.20 - $3,591.33 per year (depending on class code)
