The Director - Grants and Contracts Compliance is responsible for the review and analysis of all grant agreements and contracts from funders, as well as contracts with vendors. This role administers the financial control process of grant activity throughout the grant lifecycle for awarded and received grants to ensure compliance with grant provisions, regulations, standards, timelines, and reporting requirements. The Director - Grants and Contracts Compliance is responsible for the review of ULMS programs for grant compliance with the terms of the grants and to ensure compliance with ULMS procurement policy for contracts and vendors.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, public administration or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 3+ years grant administration, compliance management, or related experience preferably in a complex non-profit organization
- Experience managing and working with city and state contracts is required; experience with federal contracts is preferred
- Knowledge of compliance requirements outlined in the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) and experience with federal awards governed under these requirements
- Experience managing or assisting with a Single Audit
- Experience working with funding from the Small Business Administration and/or Department of Labor preferred
- Detail oriented
- Strong knowledge of statistics
- Strong database skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong, results-oriented collaboration, project coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, setting and changing priorities while ensuring quality and timeliness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in research, interpreting, and analyzing diverse data
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goal
- Experience with Sage Intaact desired
